Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The date for the AGM will be the 11th October during a time window from 18:00 to 20:00 (Suva
time). The first half-hour will be reserved for the PGRSC Focal Points where we expect some
communication which we will detail during the next days.

During the rest time of the AGM the activities of the past and planned actions of PGRSC will be
presented. The members will be asked for additional tasks which PGRSC should take into the
plan. Finally the change of the constitution will be explained and comments will be discussed.
The draft of the new constitution will be distributed now and can be downloaded from the
website.

Arti Pratap will inform how to connect to USP from the USP hubs in the Pacific and how to
connect directly.

Online GIS&RS User Conference

The PGRSC Board agreed to have an GIS&RS User Online Conference on 2nd and 3rd of
February 2021 booked from 09:00 to 17:00 on both days, again Suva time. The proceedings,
which we will produce, will be made downloadable from the PGRSC website and also available
as a printed version.

The “Face to Face” Pacific islands GIS and Remote Sensing User Conference

The Conference Committee in Vanuatu decided to postpone the 2020 GIS and RS User
Conference as a face to face Conference to the last week November 2021.

Copernicus Webinar

The announced Copernicus webinar was not fed into the USP network yet due to internal USP
problems. However, we are working on feeding all sessions and distribute during daytime.
